Deputy General Manager (Operations)

Mr. John Obioma Obiekwe is the Deputy General Manager, Operations. He is a graduate of Computer Science from the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University), Ile-Ife and has a MBA degree with emphasis in Banking & Finance. He joined NIBSS in 1993 as a pioneer staff from Coopers & Lybrand (now Price Water House Coopers) where he worked as a Senior Consultant. He was also the Computer Systems Manager for Mandilas Group Ltd and a Programmer/Analyst for African Petroleum. He is directly responsible for the inter-bank operations of the organization. He is a member of the Computer Society of Nigeria (NCS) and Computer Professional Registration Council of Nigeria (CPN). He is happily married with children.
